The World around keeps me busy you see ; including my 6 months old adorable and chirpy niece.
Also the days have been soo very hot out here, expecting the same in your city… phewww
Anyway the foodie that I am I lately visited Indore city for some work and ended up in the streets of the very famous Sarafa bazaar. Ate like a pig , yeah right!! And I must say it was Wowsome , I mean the variety , the flavors , just so catchy. Amongst all one dish I could not miss but try and it’s called Indori Patties!! Well yeah I am not such a fan of fried food but then sometimes you can’t just stop yourself for cooking something and sharing. It is one such thing. Also if you’re not a fan of coconut go no far, it’s for all the coconut lovers out their just like me!!

So Indori patties
Ingredients
- 5 parboiled potatoes
- 2 table spoon corn flour
- 2 garlic
- 1 tea spoon grated finger
- 1 cup dry shredded coconut
- Lemon as per taste
- Salt as per taste
- Green chilly as per taste
- Oil for frying
Method
- Grate the potatoes and add corn flour and salt to it and mix it well
- Take dry coconut , lemon juice, garlic, ginger, green chilly and mix them in a food processor.
- Take a drop of oil in your palm and make lemon size ball of potatoes by filling the coconut mixture into it.
- Heat the oil and let these balls fry until golden.
- Serve hot in a bed of oil soaking paper with tamarind sauce or your choice of chutney.
P.S You can always make a chaat out of it adding a little curd and green chutney along with tamarind sauce and spices!!
